Aside from buying colored pencils, braiding hair, and making lunches, what can you do to increase your family’s likelihood of success today?

How about making some extra money? The financial factor is an aspect of family life that isn’t talked about very much, but anyone who has been strapped for cash at some point knows how financial limitations can affect every aspect of someone’s life. Even if your family isn’t really struggling financially, couldn’t you use an influx of extra money? Perhaps you could finally take the kids to Disneyland, fit in a second honeymoon to celebrate your anniversary with your spouse, or just have a little extra room in your budget for all of life’s little emergencies. Sounds good, right?

Well, you can do that if you’re a certified nurse who is comfortable using computers and able to work from home. Apply to join the network of fantastic nurses at HEDIS—it’s absolutely free! What is HEDIS?

HEDIS stands for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set. The purpose of HEDIS is to record, synthesize, and analyze healthcare data across the United States in an effort to improve patient outcomes in 71 categories. Many organizations rely on HEDIS data for benchmarking, including the Accreditation Scoring Report, Quality Compass, and the State of Health Care Quality. All healthcare organizations that are accredited by the NCQA must report healthcare data to HEDIS. More than 90% of all healthcare plans in the US use HEDIS measures to determine performance and make goals for future improvement.

What does HEDIS work entail?

HEDIS nurses collect data that is reported to them via healthcare providers such as hospitals and doctors’ offices. They compile the data and draw conclusions from it. This allows healthcare organizations to know specifically how they are doing in many areas of patient outcomes and satisfaction. As a result, hospitals and other organizations are able to accurately make predictions and set goals about enhancing their healthcare services.
